Joanne Deacon, BSN,RN

My name is Joanne Deacon, and I am the owner, CEO, and Registered Nurse at Renew You Med Spa, under the supervision of Dr. Michael McMillan.  I have been a nurse for 13 years and my background, besides aesthetics, includes ER, Preop/Pacu, disaster relief in Alaska, and travel nursing.

I am a mom to two boys (ages 10 and 11 1/2) and a full-time cardiology nurse in cardiac rehab. I also own Renew You Medspa, my fun side gig! 

I work 6 -2:30 PM, then would come home and do household chores. I wanted something more with my free time so decided to reopen my Medspa after closing in 2020. I love balancing my full-time job with my side business! 

Nurses are trained to heal wounds from the inside out, and I believe in addressing skin issues at their core.   I offer a few select services, specializing in microneedling with platelets (PRP facials) to boost collagen, tighten skin, and reduce fine lines, under-eye bags, scars, brown spots, and a more even complexion. Since deep wrinkles need something extra, I also offer Botox. 

I love being an aesthetic nurse because it allows me to help people feel more confident in their own skin. My goal is to help my clients feel their absolute best version of themselves. Outside of work, our family loves to paddleboard in the summer, snowboard in the winter, and travel to beach any time we can.
